CC21 - Choir of the 21st Century
Come and experience what has been described as the greatest musical achievement of the Russian Orthodox Church at St Stephen’s Church in Gloucester Road/Southwell Gardens.

Michael Paine, who had lived in Cornwall Gardens for over 50 years and one of our most active residents in the community, sadly passed away on 22 January 2026.
Philippa Dodds John, Secretary of the Choir, looks forward to welcoming you to the concert and writes:
“I am sure you will already know that we have lost our dear friend and staunch supporter of CC21, Mike Paine. He was such a polymath - successful businessman, literary genius, raconteur, pianist and most supportive friend. Our lives are less colourful now. To acknowledge his support to the choir which include many of his personal friends we will dedicate our concert on 7 February to Michael”.

Afternoon Tea for Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday)
If you live in Queen’s Gate Ward and qualify or nearly qualify for a Freedom Pass, you are cordially invited to the Fourth Event of the Freedom Pass Dining Club (along with your companion or carer, if required) on Tuesday, 17 February 2026 at 3 pm for Afternoon Tea in celebration of Pancake Day at Jakobs Restaurant, 20 Gloucester Road, SW7 4RB.

Given the popularity and great success of the Third Event, namely, Afternoon Tea held on 20 January 2026, it would be most helpful if you could contact Tania or Alan by phone or email (see flyer) to confirm your attendance as this will assist with numbers for catering.
The event is free of charge, courtesy of RBKC’s Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy Fund, and supported by the Cornwall Gardens Residents Association.
