Related to the above is a consultation from RBKC canvassing your views on council tax policy and services. The deadline for completion and return to RBKC is Friday, 9 January 2025. You can access the consultation via https://consult.rbkc.gov.uk/resources/budget-2026-27/ Also attached is a letter dated 17 December 2025 sent to Residents Associations' Chairmen by Joe Powell MP. Both Cllr Sam Mackover and Joe Powell MP will be attending our AGM, with Joe joining us from 8 pm. Guy Steenkamp (Sales Manager, Winkworths, Gloucester Road) will also be attending to deal with the proposed Mansion Tax (see Extract from the draft Minutes of the Building Representatives Forum Meeting of 1 December 2025 summarising the Mansion Tax proposals), Conformity of Buildings Appearance and the effect of these and other related issues on property valuations.
