April 2026
Dear Cornwall Gardens Key Holder and/or Resident
The Cornwall Gardens Management Committee had its first Meeting of the year on 25 March 2026. The Minutes are here along with the Gardener’s Report and an Action Points checklist. See also pictures of Charlie the Fox in action, as mentioned in the Minutes (with thanks to Tira Shubart), and another of the Cherry Tree in full blossom in the East Garden, taken on 2 April 2026, for the sheer joy of it. As you can see from the Minutes, there are lots of changes and developments which we hope will excite your interest. Other information about Cornwall Gardens is freely accessible by going to our website cornwallgardens.org
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with the Chairman or Secretary if you have any queries or concerns, using the contact details provided below.
Just one issue from the Minutes to highlight here.
We’ve received complaints from residents about pigeons being attracted to their buildings by food being put out for them. We would ask that no food for birds or other animals is put out in, on or around buildings’ features, fixtures and fittings as this constitutes a nuisance, health hazard and attracts vermin. Most leases and rental agreements will have general or specific provisions prohibiting this too. (For the avoidance of doubt, this prohibition does not apply to management approved bird feeders for garden birds in West, Central or East Gardens).
UP AND COMING EVENTS
Please find the Events Table here so you are aware of up and coming events, both private and community, in the Gardens. Please use the booking form here if you wish to host your own private event in one of the Gardens.
